About Petriolo
Petriolo is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Macerata in the Italian region Marche, located about 45 kilometres (28 mi) south of Ancona and about 9 kilometres (6 mi) south of Macerata. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 2,063 and an area of 15.6 square kilometres (6.0 mi2).
